Was out sick for a few days this week, but in the brief intervals where I was lucid these finds help me get through the day:

- SHORT SIGHT So many people are nearsighted in Taiwan that they have already glimpsed what could be coming for the rest of us.
- DON'T VENT As one researcher put it, “Venting anger is like using gasoline to put out a fire.”
The weekend is filled with multiple families hanging out, which should help me recover from the sickness-induced social FOMO.
