Howdy folks,
I was on a blissful break the first half of the week. These are the finds that kept me occupied on train rides in Taiwan. I usually try to have a diverse set but it's becoming harder to see anything interesting in tech/culture without the word 'AI' in it - hopefully these are still curious to you:
- COACHES GALORE When bold claims promise to have all the answers—to success, to prosperity, to fulfillment—who doesn’t feel the pull?
- UNDETERRED “The unique thing about China’s feminism movement is that it almost entirely happens online.”
- AI RELIGION? It’s no accident — the intertwining of religion and technology is centuries old.
- AI DISGUST How humans react to AI with disgust–reading it as off, not right, and unnatural—thereby limiting its intrusion into art and culture.
- AI-LIENS? NASA wants to use AI to study unidentified aerial phenomenon.
Back from a short break I have very little desire to be outdoors. So my daughter and I have started an ambitious lego project.
