Growing up in a small town in eastern India, Gautam Ramdurai's windows to the world were two television channels and a national newspaper that arrived a day late. All that changed when he walked into an internet cafe for the first time, and realised how an abundance of information, paired with precise curiosity, can overcome a scarcity of resources. He has been following that thread across three continents ever since. Living, working and travelling along the way.
He spent thirteen years at Google building nearly every major product the company shipped — from Android to YouTube, Google Cloud to Google AI. Leading marketing, sales and business teams across New York, London and Singapore, he drove growth at scale across the USA, UK, Europe and Asia.
